Literature Text

I stepped on your toes too many times.
All I wanted was a dance.

Cover your ears and read my lips.
I'm watching you
day and night
And I have you within my reach
when I'm holding a 10 foot pole
But you won't even look at me
with your big blind eyes
Or give me a chance to explain
because gambling is a sin.

I spit on you every day.
I thought you were greek, too.

Turn off your alarm clock
if it's not already broken
And wake up to the morning air
that faded 12 hours ago
So you can experience sunshine
and sunburns
and rejoice in the beauty all around you
that costs $15.95 at the thrift shop down the road.

My heart bleeds for you.
Daddy must've taught you how to shoot.

I'm sorry.
A black cat must've crossed your path.
I thought you liked pussy.

Note: Above is the only thing I had as a description before. I should have put more. It seems that no one really understood this poem. Ironically, it's a poem about misinterpretations and hidden meanings.

One little piece of information that's kinda important:
The Greek spit on people they love for good luck and to chase off demons.

Hope this makes it a little more clear. :) (Smile)

Very nice. Don't really have any authority to critique it though. Just nice. You're quite eloquent. ;)
