Artist's Comments

I created this wire bonsai tree for a tree-themed swap on craftster.org. It's made using 30gauge silver floral wire and a mix of glass beads in light green, green, dark green, and a aqua-ish green. There are leaves, flowers, hearts, teardrops, and all sorts of other stuff. It's kinda like a charm bracelet tree in that you can just keep looking at it and discovering all the different beads.

Beautiful! This piece is well balanced in both color and form.

I love the mixture of beads and the reflection looks nice on that mirror.

I do too! I wish I could say I put a lot of time into choosing them, but I really just dumped a bunch of random green beads in a container and put them on randomly. :P

It does! I use about a yard per little branch, so that's... *gets out calculator*... around 110 feet per tree. I think. I'm not great at math. It's a lot. :P
